Kyra Minturn

 KyraMinturn Sedgwickwas born on 19th August, 1965 is an American actor. Her most well-known work is her leading role as Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson on the TNT crime drama The Closer. For her portrayal of Johnson, Sedgwick won a Golden Globe Award in 2007 and an Emmy Award in 2010. The series ended on August 13, 2012, after the conclusion of its seventh season. Sedgwick's performance as Madeline Wuntch in the sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine is also notable. Sedgwick received nominations for a Golden Globe award for her performance in Something to Talk About (1995). Sedgwick's films roles include Oliver Stone's Born in July (1989), Cameron Crowe's Individuals (1992) as well as Heart and Souls (1993), Phenomenon (1996), What's Cooking (2000) and Secondhand Lions (2003). The Game Plan (2007) and The Possession (2011) are also among her many. Sedgwick is the daughter Patricia Rosenwald who is an educator, family therapist, venture capitalist, as well as Henry Dwight Sedgwick VII Speech Therapist. Her mother, who was Jewish was of English and Episcopalian heritage. Sedgwick is a self-described Jewish and has claimed that she attends at Passover seders.
